Rule Changes, Adjustments, Modifications and Proposals

 2021 Off season Potential Rule Proposals

All of these are taken from conversations with other coaches in the league and the 2020 year end survey.  Not all of these are going to require a vote.

After everyone has a chance to read over these and ask any questions they might have the vote will go out in the form of a Google Survey.

In order for any change to occur it will need an 8/12 vote to be approved.

1 - Move TD Points up to 4 for Passing and 6 for Rushing/Receiving (will correct how I thought Sleeper would score them) -  This has Already Been Done

2 - KR/PR TD

• Should Defense get 6 points?

• Should Individual Player get 6 Points?

• Should both get 6 points (this is the way it was accounted for in 2020)?

3 - Divisional Realignment - This will allow us to keep things interesting over time - No Vote Required

• Previous 3 winners of the Toilet Bowl get to make the decision.

• Cannot activate until we have 3 individual winners, no repeats. Needs 3 coaches.

• The 3 coaches can choose to leave everything as is and not change anything.

4 - Free Agency - In order to help make sure that the Dynasty league does not get too top heavy (too much talent on the top few teams while the bottom teams take too long to catch up in terms of power and want to quit the league). 

• After the season ends, before any other transactions can occur.  The 6 teams who were competing for the toilet bowl (from 12th to 6th) Get to select 1 player from any team in the league to claim as their Free Agent

• Every Team gets to protect up to 6 players from their roster.

• If someone is chosen from a teams roster, that team can not lose another Free Agent for the same off season

• Teams that lose a player receiver a compensatory 2nd round rookie selection (at the end of the second round, given out in order of final season ranking per team)

5 - Non Playoff teams draft picks are randomized in a lottery (except the Toilet Bowl winner).

6 - Free Agency - Another Idea

• When a player in the NFL gets traded to another team or hits Free Agency then they hit Free Agency in our Pandemic Football League as well.

7 - Even though the Commish is 1000% against Kickers - Do we want to have kickers in the league?  (You guys still won’t like me if this goes through)

• Leave those pansy ass kickers out of the league

• Bring them in and move our starting lineup to 11 players

• Bring them in and lose a flex spot.

8 - Increase QB Scoring

• Leave QB Scoring the way it is

• Increase QB TD Passes from 4 points to 6 points (But this will also increase Interceptions from -1 point to -3 points - This will make the Great QB’s more Valuable).

9 - Rookie Flex Rule will be changed to you just have to start any NON-QB Rookie (no longer has to be in a flex spot) - No Vote Required.

10 - Entry Fee increased by $10 for the 2021 season (Will now be $60). - No Vote Required, y'all already approved

• Extra $120 into the prize pool

• $25 will go to trophy support and $95 towards top 3 payouts.

• 1st - $250

• 2nd - $125

• 3rd - $70
