Pandemic Playoff Push Week 13

Going in to the last week before the playoffs start and there are a bunch of possibilities that exist.

Only 1 Division is actually locked up and that is:

The Las Vegas DeathDealers have Clinched the Pestilence division. DeathDealers are unable to receive a 1st round bye - they have clinched the #3 seed

The Cholera division is currently tied between the Massacres and the GucciGeckos.

 --- If The Massacre lose to the Ninja Monkeys AND the Geckos beat Rams City then the Geckos will take the division.

----- If Both teams end with the same record - Massacre currently holds a 94 point lead.  GucciGeckos would have to outscore the Massacre by 95 points in week 14 to take the division.

 ---- The team that takes the division gets a first round bye

The Bubonic Division,

Kamaravirus currently has the division.   

Kamaravirus plays Fields of Dreams week 14.  Fields of Dreams has to win by 73+ Points to take the division and earn a first round bye.

After the 3 Division winners

Playoff Team #4 is the team with the best record who is NOT in the playoffs already.

IF Fields of Dreams beats Kamarvirus then the team that does not take the division will receive the #4 spot no matter what.

If Fields of Dreams loses, the Massacre and GucciGeckos both win, All 3 will finish with a record of 9-5.

The #4 spot will come down to the tiebreaker of whichever team scored the most points between the two non division winners.  

Playoff Team #5 is determined by the team that scored the most points who is not already in the playoffs.

Assuming that a lower tier team doesn't go crazy and score 300 points during the final week....

iHopkins - 2026

Scumdogs - 2019

GucciGeckos - 2005

Playoff Team #6 is determined by the team who scores the most points the last 4 weeks of the season who is not already in. (see chart below)

We have 7 teams competing for 6 playoff spots.

Kamaravirus, DeathDealers Are the only two 100% locked in to a spot.

Massacre have the best shot to make the playoffs of the remaining teams Based on Record and Points Scored.  The likelihood of being outscored by GucciGeckos by 95+ points in week 14 is almost not worth pointing out.

Fields of Dreams - If he wins he is in no matter what.  If he loses he has a chance to miss out if GucciGeckos wins AND outscores him by 51 points

So, lets assume the above are all in.  This leaves the Final 2 spots to iHopkins, GucciGeckos and Scumdogs.

 The last two Spots are for Most Points Scored and Most Points Scored last 4 Weeks.

The Scumdogs have the best odds of the 3 teams to make the playoffs.

Holding an Advantage of 50+ points over iHopkins and 95 points over GucciGeckos for points in last 4 weeks puts the Scumdogs in the drivers Seat for that spot.

As for Most Points Scored (not in) iHopkins holds a 7 point lead over the Scumdogs and a 21 point lead over GucciGeckos.

If the Scumdogs beat iHopkins by more than 7 points then Scumdogs get the #5 seed and iHopkins would get the #6 seed UNLESS GucciGeckos scores 53 more points than iHopkins in week 14.

If iHopkins beats the Scumdogs or loses by less than 7 points then iHopkins gets the #5 spot and the Scumdogs are virtually assured the #6 spot.

GucciGeckos has the biggest uphill battle towards making the playoffs out of the remaining 7 teams.
